The Royals fell short on Thursday night in a close battle with the Brooklyn High School Hurricanes by a score of 2-1.  Brooks Montgomery was outstanding in net but the Royals had trouble executing against the pesky Hurricanes.  The lone goal was scored by senior defenseman Hayden Dickerson.  Freshman forward Stephen Griffith (pictured) was tenacious on the forecheck all night and was the Royal of Game.  The Royals look to bounce back as they head up to The Pond in Aurora to take on a strong Aurora High School team.  The puck drops at 3:10pm.
