The girls basketball team will open up the 2016 OHSAA State Tournament with a familiar opponent. The Royals will face off against the Bulldogs of Woodridge High School. CVCA will host this Sectional Semi-final matchup on Saturday, February 13th at 1pm. The girls are seeded #6 in the Division II Nordonia District. Woodridge received the #8 seed.

These two teams played earlier this season. The Royals were 59-50 winners on November 27th in a game that was also played at CVCA.
