Boys Basketball falls to Tuslaw

Royals fall to Tuslaw 42-50

The boys basketball team hosted undefeated Tuslaw on Friday night with the hopes of spoiling their perfect season. The Mustangs enter the game with the PAC Championship already locked up. Tuslaw started fast and jumped out to a comfortable lead on the Royals in the first half. CVCA struggled offensively and entered half-time trailing by 16 points. The Royals then responded with a strong second half outscoring the Mustangs 28-20. In the end it wasn't enough to overcome the poor first half. Tuslaw held on to their unblemished record with a 50-42 win.
CVCA had three players scored in double figures Ryan Foguth (13), Steven Taylor (11), and Nate Peters (10). Tuslaw was led by John Carroll's 18 points.
The Royals will host Akron Garfield on Tuesday, February 16th in the last week of the regular season.
