Hockey season comes to an end

Royals fall to Aurora 5-6

The Royals hockey season came to an end last night at the hands of the Aurora Greenmen. It was an exciting game with the Royals in the lead for all but the last two minutes of play. It was a tough 6-5 loss to end an outstanding season. The Royals finished 18-11, tied for the second most wins in a season in school history. Senior assistant captain Matt Greenwood lead the scoring with 2 goals, junior assistant captain Hayden Dickerson had 1 goal and 1 assist as did freshman Christian Beckett. Senior captain Josh Polanski also had 1 goal and 1 assist to finish the season with a remarkable 101 points (71 goals and 29 assists). It was a great year for Royal hockey!
