Akron, OH - The Boys basketball team had a quick turnaround after Friday night's win over Rhodes in the form of a matchup with Buchtel CLC in Akron. The Royals grabbed an early lead but saw that quickly become a deficit during quarters 2 & 3. CVCA struggled in the middle quarters, with key pieces on the bench in foul trouble. They were able to battle back and trailed by 7 with about 3 minutes left in the game. The Royals would not get any closer. Final score: CVCA 49 - Buchtel 65

Nate Peters' led the Royals with 22 points. Steven Taylor added 11 and Elijah Turner scored 9 with 8 rebounds. 

CVCA will host Orange in the Sectional Semi-final on Tuesday, February 23rd at 7pm.
