The Royals came out strong and never looked back defeating the Parma Redmen 6-2 at the Kent State Ice Arena tonight.  The Royals played excellent team defense throughout the game.  The Royals staked out a 3-0 lead in the first period.  The Royals struck again quickly in the second to take a 4-0 lead before the Redmen finally got on the board and the teams entered the third period with the Royals leading 4-1.  The Royals scored twice in the third and closed out a 6-2 win.  Brooks Montgomery was strong in net for the Royals stopping 25 of 27 shots on the night.  The Royals were lead by freshman forward Christian Beckett's hat trick and 4 point night (3 goals, 1 assist).  Senior assistant captain Matt Greenwood (pictured) had 2 goals and 1 assist.  Senior captain Josh Polanski had 1 goal and 3 assists and Bayley McRitchie and Zach Miller each picked up and assist.  It was a great team effort for the Royals.  

The team plays their final regular season game tomorrow afternoon at 4:30pm.  It's Senior Night so come out and support our seniors, Matt Greenwood and Josh Polanski.
