CVCA traveled to Akron on Thursday night for a matchup with the Fighting Irish of St Vincent - St Mary High School. The Irish entered the game 2-0 on the season. The Royals stood at 1-0 after a road win at Green on Saturday night. 

The Royals struck first on a goal by Braden Petno. It would remain 1-0 through the first half.  The 2nd half saw another gear from CVCA. They would add 3 goals. Jay Patsch scored making it 2-0. Nick Alvarez added a goal, and Braden Petno scored his 2nd on the night. The 4 goal lead was more than enough as the Royals defense was determined to keep the Irish from scoring. Final Score: CVCA 4 - STVM 0

CVCA will host Wheaton Academy (IL) on Saturday at 5pm.
