The 2025 CVCA boys soccer season came to an end last night. The Royals fell in overtime to Aurora in an OHSAA Division III State Semifinal contest. The game was a battle from start to finish between two of Northeast Ohio's best teams. The Royals had some momentum early, but didn't score. CVCA's defense withstood a second half full of Aurora possession to force overtime. The Greenmen were able to score after a long throw in landed back post off a header. The 1-0 overtime loss moves CVCA to 17-3-2 on the season. It was an outstanding season and impressive postseason run for the Royals.
