On Monday night, the Royals hosted the Bucks of Buckeye High School. CVCA was riding high after a win over rival Walsh Jesuit. The Royals started fast and secured their 5th win of the year. Final Score: CVCA 3 - Buckeye 0

The Royals' first goal came less than 2 minutes after the opening kick. Braden Petno attacked along the right wing and played a centering ball to Jay Patsch for the goal. Later in the first half, Braden Petno collected a loose ball in the box for a goal. Chris DeLucia served the ball in off a CVCA corner kick. His ball was headed towards goal by Nick Alvarez. After bouncing off a defender, Petno was able to finish. The final goal of the night came just before halftime. A Brady Bissonette shot was redirected by Chris DeLucia for the 3 goal advantage.
