The CVCA boys soccer team traveled to Hudson on Wednesday night to face the Pioneers of Western Reserve Academy. The Royals scored first and held a 1-0 lead at the end of the first half. WRA responded after the break with two quick goals to move in front. They later added a third goal for extra breathing room. CVCA never quit and continue to put the pressure on the Pioneers. Late in the game, the Royals pulled to within one goal, but they were unable to find an equalizer in the final minutes. This is the first loss of the season for CVCA as they finish the regular season 13-1-2. The boys will now shift their focus to the OHSAA tournament. They will open play on Saturday, October 24th at home.
