The Lady Royals suffered a tough road loss at Orrville on Saturday afternoon. A five point second quarter put CVCA in a whole heading into half time. They responded with a 21-12 third quarter to get themselves back in striking distance. Although the pace of the game and the pressure defense was to their liking, they Lady Royals failed to capitalize on some easy opportunities at the basket. This along with second chance shots and missed free throws were to much to overcome. Final score: CVCA 58 - Orrville 68. Coach Robinson loved the way his team battled and created turnovers against a good Orrville team. They gave themselves a chance down the stretch. The Lady Royals will host Fairless on Saturday, January 28th.
