CVCA opened their season on Saturday at the Junior Jacks tournament. They faced Notre Dame Cathedral Latin and Bay Village at the Cleveland Heights Recreation Center. In game #1, NDCL earned a 6-1 win over CVCA. Christian Beckett scored the lone goal for the Royals. Daniel Griffith earned Royal of the Game for his performance in goal. In game #2, CVCA dropped a close battle with Bay 3-5. Christian Beckett scored twice for the Royals and Bayley McRitchie added a goal. Beckett was named Royal of the Game by the team. They will return to action on Tuesday against Avon Lake.
