The CVCA boys basketball team hosted Streetsboro on Tuesday night. It was the first game of the 2017-18 season for the Royals. The boys started the year on the right foot with a 63-45 win. The Royals were able to keep the Rockets at an arm's length all night by winning each quarter. After a 24-17 halftime lead, CVCA used strong rebounding and balanced scoring to extend their lead in the second half. The team will return to action on Friday night at Orrville.
