The CVCA boys basketball season came to an end on Friday night. The Royals traveled to Woodridge to face the #2 seeded Bulldogs in the Sectional Final. It was a terrific high school basketball game that was played in front of a packed gym. Neither team was able to build a large lead, and it was obvious the game would be decided in the final minutes. CVCA came up just short as Woodridge was able to hold on to a 2 point win. Final score: CVCA 58 - Woodridge 60. The 2016-17 season was an impressive year for the Royals. This team overcame many challenges including injuries to win a conference championship and finish 18-6. The team would like to thank it's five seniors for all they gave to the program.
