CVCA hosted the Holiday Hoops Classic on December 28th and 29th. The girls basketball event featured CVCA, Central Christian, Lake Center Christian, Valley Christian, Kingsway Christian, and Lutheran East. The Royals faced off against Central Christian on Friday night and Lutheran East on Saturday. CVCA earned 2 wins in the event. They had contributions from everyone on the team in Friday night's 47-26 win over Central Christian. Great defense and effort guided the Royals to a 44-35 win over a talented Lutheran East squad on Saturday. The girls will be back in action on January 3rd at Woodridge.
