The CVCA Girls Basketball team hosted Beaumont on Monday night. This game was rescheduled from earlier in the season when inlcement weather forced a cancelation. Both teams entered the game looking to build momentum with the postseason approaching. The game was close throughout. A five point margin was the largest of the game, which CVCA held early at 5-0. They would hold that advantage again the final seconds as they earned a 39-34 win. CVCA's defense made held the Blue Streaks to just over 20% shooting on the night and just 4 points in the 4th quarter. The girls will travel to WRA on Wednesday night for the final game of the regular season. The OHSAA tournament starts this Saturday when the Royals host Woodridge at 7pm.
