The CVCA hockey team ended their season on Monday as Champions of the Hoover Presidents Day Tournament. The Royals went 4-0 in the tournament with 2 wins over Hoover, 1 over Nordonia, and 1 over Brecksville. They played some of their best hockey of the season during this 4 game stretch. In the championship game on Monday night, the Royals used 2 late goals to earn a 3-2 win over Hoover. The game was tied 1-1 with about 3 mintues remain before the exciting finish.

Christian Beckett scored both late goals propelling CVCA to victory.
Bayley McRitchie was name Royal of the Game as he capped off an impressive season and impressive career for the Royals.
The Royals defeated Nordonia 6-0 on Saturday afternoon. They were led in that game by the youngsters on the roster.
JT Nichols picked up his 1st career shutout in the win.
Sam Porter scored his 1st goal and recorded his first assist as well.
Christian Beckett scored 5 times for the Royals.
Jack Perrotta recorded 4 assists on the night and Jonathan Rybka added 2. Perrotta was named Royal of the Game.
In the final game of pool play, CVCA defeated Brecksville-Broadview Heights by a score of 7-2. Another big day on offense for the Royals as

Gabe Dearden (3 goals) found the net early and often. Beckett passed the 50 goal mark in this game and
Sam Porter was named Royal of the Game.
