The CVCA girls tennis team traveled to NDCL on Tuesday after school. The heat and humidity didn't stop the Royals from coming away with a 3-2 win. CVCA earned wins in 2nd and 3rd singles while NDCL picked up wins in 1st singles and 2nd doubles. That meant the match came down to senior
Miriam Cook and sophomore
Courtney Morris in 1st doubles. The girls dropped the 1st set 6-1 but answered with a 2nd set win in a tie breaker. All eyes were on their court for the third set, and they pulled off a focused win by a score of 6-4. It was a hard fought and terrific win for them and the team as a whole.
