The CVCA boys basketball team traveled down to Massillon on Tuesday for a matchup with the Tuslaw Mustangs. The Royals controlled the game for the first three quarters and led 38-28 entering the final quarter. Tuslaw switched to a high pressure half-court trap that made things very difficult for CVCA. The Mustangs stormed back and earned a 50-45 by creating lots of turnovers in the final quarter. The loss drops CVCA to 10-6 overall and 6-3 in conference play. Despite the loss, the Royals are still in tie for first place in the PAC-7.
