The CVCA boys basketball team traveled to Coventry on Tuesday night for a non-conference matchup with the Comets. The Royals led 8-7 after the first quarter. Coventry answered by outscoring CVCA 28-16 in the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined. The boys tried to make a run but couldn't comeback. They fell by a score of 52-47. They will open conference play on Friday at Northwest.
