For the 2nd time in three years, the CVCA hockey team has won the Baron Cup. The Royals defeated #1 seed Parma in thrilling fashion on Sunday to earn the title. CVCA jumped on the Redmen early and led 2-0 after the 1st period. A stunned Parma team tried to battle back and scored once in 2nd period to inch closer. In the game's final minutes, Parma put the pressure on the Royals' defense, but JT Nichols and the Royals stopped every chance until the final buzzer. CVCA played an outstanding all around game to win the 2019 Baron Cup III Championship.
