The CVCA girls tennis team moved to 4-4 on the season with a 3-2 win at Hoban on Tuesday. The Royals have now won three matches by a score of 3-2. The whole team played their hardest and got right back to business after the long weekend. The Royals got wins by Courtney DeCarlo at 2nd singles and Hannah Jacob at 3rd singles. The match of the day, however, was the performance of Becca Nguyen and Courtney Morris at 1st doubles. They played dominant tennis, putting away points at the net, being smart with their lobs, and dominating the match, winning 6-2, 6-1 to give CVCA the team victory. It was an excellent way to start out a tough week of competition.
