CVCA hosted St. Vincent-St. Mary on Tuesday night. The Royals and Irish faced off in a Division II District Final match. CVCA controlled the pace in the first half, but the teams were tied 0-0 at the half. The Royals broke through just over 10 minutes into the second half. They added another goal less than five minutes later to go up 2-0. With less than 8 minutes left, CVCA scored again. Their defense continued to hold strong and the Royals won 3-0. It was the team's 9th shutout on the year. They will face Bay in the District Final on Saturday. That game will be played at Bay HS at 2pm.
