The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Saint Joseph Academy on Saturday. The Royals continue to face stiff competition and continue to step right up to the challenge. Saturday was no different. The Royals held a 21-13 lead at the half, but the Jaguars fought back in the third quarter to gain a lead. Down by 1 entering the fourth quarter, CVCA responded with an impressive finish. They outscored Saint Joseph 23-8 in the final frame to earn a 54-40 win. The Royals are now 5-2 and will host Tuslaw on Wednesday night.
