Girls Basketball wins share of PAC-7 title

Wednesday night was an exciting night for the CVCA girls basketball program. The girls combined Senior Night, a conference title, and new school record for wins all into one evening. The Royals earned a hard fought 53-49 win over Triway. The win secured a share of the PAC-7 title as CVCA, Northwest, and Tuslaw finished the year 10-2 in conference play. It was also the teams 20th win of the season which is a new program record. The 2008-2009 team finished the season 19-4. In addition to the accomplishments on the floor, senior Jackie Brighton was honored prior to the game for her commitment to the team and her teammates. Next up for the Royals is the OHSAA Tournament.
