The CVCA girls tennis team went on the road Friday night to play a Copley team that always proves to be a tough opponent. The doubles teams of Julia Dolan/Callie Conner and Courtney Morris/Medora Wychanko took care of business, winning both courts in straight sets. The Royals only needed one singles court to pull out a victory, and although first and second singles played very well, the third singles match proved to be the difference. Junior Courtney DeCarlo overcame an early 3-0 deficit to win her match 6-4 6-3, giving CVCA the 3-2 victory. It was a great way to end the week, and a great win for the Royals.
