The CVCA girls basketball team hosted Hiland on Saturday afternoon. The Royals knew they were in for a challenge as the Hawks were State Champions a season ago. CVCA hung tough and battled throughout the game. Hiland was able to string together a run in the 4th quarter to move out in front. The Royals were unable to close the gap and fell by a score of 51-44. They will travel to Manchester on Wednesday night to face the Panthers in conference play.
