The CVCA hockey team hosted Cleveland Heights on Friday in their home opener. The Royals were looking to build off a strong showing over Thanksgiving and improve to 2-0 in conference play. The visiting Tigers had other plans. CVCA fell in this game by a score of 5-2. They will regroup before facing Normandy and Parma next weekend.
