The CVCA baseball team hosted Northwest on Friday evening. The Royals knew a win would go a long way in keeping their hopes of winning the conference title alive. A tight game early saw CVCA score four times in the 5th and three times in the 6th to secure an 8-1 win. Junior Andrew Hendrickx dominated on the Monday for the Royals. He pitched 6.1 innings, allowing zero earned runs and just 1 hit. He also set a new single game record by striking out 15 batters. CVCA will travel to Barbert on Saturday for non-conference action.
