CVCA introduces Nick Cook as Head Coach [Football]

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is excited to introduce Nick Cook as Head Football Coach. Coach Cook brings a background full of coaching and leadership experience. He has coached at the high school level as well as at NCAA DI, DII, and DIII institutions. Most recently, he served as the Head Coach at Chicago Christian High School. His other stops include Ohio State University, University of Mount Union, Ohio Dominican University, Grove City Christian School, and Franklin Heights High School. He was a member of three national championship teams as a player at Mount Union prior to coaching. In all, Coach Cook's football experience includes 4 national championships and 7 conference championships. His desire to see lives transformed through the gospel, coaching and leadership - along with his experience and execution of this goal - makes him a great fit for the CVCA community and CVCA football family.

"Our family's story began at the University of Mount Union, and later, my wife and I were married in Hudson, Ohio, seventeen years ago.  The opportunity to return to the area with our two sons and join the mission of one of the top Christian schools in the Midwest is very exciting.

We look forward to locking arms with the entire community to run a Christ-like, state championship-caliber football program.  Our program will take care of our players through the gospel, while also being blue-collar, elite in strength and conditioning, and fast in everything we do.  The work has already begun, and we are looking forward to football Friday nights in Royals Stadium."
