The CVCA hockey team opened the 2022-23 season with a game against Chagrin Falls on Sunday. The Royals skated to a 7-3 road victory over the Tigers. The score was 4-3 at the end of the 2nd period. The CVCA defense buckled down to shutout Chagrin in the final period and the offense added three goals for good measure. Four different Royals scored on the day with three of them scoring twice. The team will compete in the Bruce Anderson Memorial Tournament this weekend in Parma.
