11/28/2022 7:54:00 AM

The CVCA hockey team competed in Normandy's Bruce Anderson Memorial Tournament over the weekend. The Royals were impressive to say the least. The team skated to a 3-0 weekend and took home the championship. They outscored their opponents 25-4 in the tournament as the offense and defense both shined. On Friday night, the Royals defeated Orange by a score of 9-2. They followed that up with a 9-1 win over Lakewood on Saturday. In Sunday's final, CVCA defeated North Olmsted 7-1. Sophomore Jarod Outward was named the tournament's "Most Valuable Player" and Sophomore Caleb Mosher earned "Most Valuable Goalie" honors. The team is now 4-0 on the season and has scored 7 or more goals in every game.
