The CVCA hockey team hosted Canfield on Wednesday evening in GCHSHL action. The Royals and Cardinals were scheduled to meet on Friday night, but the game was moved due to Canfield football competing in the State Championship that day. Canfield was able fight back each time they fell behind in this game. They scored late to force an overtime period and then found the game winning goal. CVCA fell by a score of 5-4 to move to 4-1 on the season. The Royals are right back in action Thursday night as they face Kent Roosevelt in the opening game of Kent's weekend tournament.
