The CVCA hockey team played two games on Saturday in the Adam S. Hamilton Memorial Tournament. Early in the day, the Royals faced off against Parma. CVCA skated to a 4-2 win over the Redmen. In the evening, CVCA went head to head with Solon. The Royals were looking for a win to advance to the Championship game on Sunday. CVCA had no trouble with the Comets as they secured a 10-0 win in two periods. In Sunday's Championship game, CVCA will rematch with Kent Roosevelt. The Royals defeated the Rough Riders on Thursday night by a score of 4-1. The puck will drop at 12:20pm at Kent State University.
