The CVCA boys basketball team hosted Walsh Jesuit ton Tuesday night. It was the final regular season game of the year for the Royals. The intensity was there from the start in this battle of cross-street rivals. Thanks to a last second three, CVCA led 29-28 after a very well played first half. In the second half, the Royals had a difficult time scoring against Walsh. The Warriors executed well down the stretch and came away with a 55-43 win. The Royals end the regular season at 14-7. They will host the winner of Cleveland Central Catholic & East Tech on Friday, February 25th in the second round of tournament play.
