The CVCA hockey team opened the OHSAA Tournament on Tuesday night. The Royals faced a familiar foe in Canfield. During the season, the Royals dropped two games by one goal each to the Cardinals. Still, the Royals entered the game with confidence after winning 4 of their last 5 games. CVCA took control of this game in the 2nd period. They scored twice to increase their lead to 4-1. They wen to earn a 5-3 win and advance to the next round. The Royals will face University School on Saturday at 5:00pm.
