The CVCA boys basketball team traveled to Akron on Friday night and returned home with a 52-47 win over the Panthers. The Royals controlled the game early and led 25-15 at the half. Manchester made a late run but CVCA held on for the important conference victory. The boys are now 12-6 overall and 8-2 in conference play. They sit tied with Northwest atop the PAC-7 standings with 2 games to go. CVCA will host Orrville on Tuesday night then travel to Northwest Friday.
