The CVCA boys basketball team faced Glenville in the District Final on Saturday. The Royals were looking for their first District Title since 2013 but faced a tough challenge in the Tarblooders. Glenville started fast and jumped ahead 9-0. CVCA battled back and took a 27-26 lead into halftime. The Royals led 41-37 before a buzzer beating three-pointer ended the third quarter. That shot seemed to shift the momentum of the game. In the final quarter, CVCA had a difficult time stopping Glenville as they scored 35 points. The Royals fell by a score fo 75-61 and finish the year at 16-8.
