Sophomore Darryn Peterson was named 1st Team All-State by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association on Thursday. Peterson earned this honor at the Division II level. He had a standout season for the Royals and help lead the team to a Conference Championship. Darryn averaged 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals per game this season. He finished 3rd overall in the voting for Ohio Mr. Basketball. This is the 2nd year Darryn has earned 1st Team All-State honors.
