The CVCA baseball team hosted Canton South on Thursday in conference action. Pitching controlled the game throughout as both sides had strong outings. The Royals broke through with a run in the 5th inning, but Canton South answered with two runs in the top of the 6th. CVCA failed to score in the 6th and entered the 7th down a run. Jules Hernandez drew a 1 out walk and Luke Wiggers ripped a game tying double. Two batters later, Dillon Webb sent the ball over the outfielders heads and the Royals won the game 3-2.
