The CVCA baseball team hosted Barberton on Thursday in non-conference action. The game featured big innings from both teams. Barberton scored 6 times in the 2nd inning to grab a 7-2 lead. The Royals cut the lead to 7-4 in the bottom of the second and held the Magics scoreless in the top of the 3rd. The game changed in the bottom of the 3rd inning as CVCA scored 18 runs behind strong hitting and walks. The Royals would go on to win the game by a score of 23-7 and improve to 9-5 on the season.
