The CVCA boys basketball team hosted Northwest on Tuesday night. Both teams entered the game 6-0 in conference play and the Royals entered the game 10-0 overall. CVCA started fast and jumped out to a 12-0 lead to start the game and took a 38-28 lead into halftime. Northwest continued to battle and made a few runs in the 2nd half. The Royals never gave up their lead and always had an answer for Northwest's attempts to swing momentum. CVCA earned an 85-76 win to improved to 11-0 on the season and claim 1st place in the PAC-7 standings at 7-0. The boys will host Fairless on Friday night.
