The CVCA boys basketball team traveled to Canton South on Saturday night. The Royals and Wildcats were supposed to meet on Friday night, but the winter storm pushed the game to Saturday. It was a battle between to very good teams. Canton South held a two point advantage at the end of the first quarter. CVCA was able to move in front by 1 at halftime, but fell behind by four points in the third quarter. The Royals flipped the game in their favor in the final quarter. They outscored Canton South 16-7 to secure a 58-53 victory. CVCA is now 13-1 on the season and remains unbeaten (8-0) in conference play. The boys will host Orrville on Tuesday night.
