The CVCA hockey team hosted Kenston on Saturday night. Kenston entered this very important GCHSHL White North match-up unbeaten on the season. The Royals were looking to avenge a loss to the Bombers earlier this season and pull even in the league standings. CVCA played very well in all phases on this night. The Royals led 2-0 at the end of the first period. Kenston scored the lone goal of the 2nd period to make it a one goal game. CVCA answered with two early 3rd period goals to pull away from Kenston. The Royals would go on to win the game by a score of 5-2. The team is now 19-6 on the season and 5-1 in league play. They have two big home games this week (Friday vs North Olmsted & Saturday vs Stow).
