The CVCA boys basketball team traveled down to Wooster on Friday night to face the Triway Titans. For the second time this season, four quarters wasn't enough to determine a winner between CVCA and Triway. The Royals started fast and led by 7 after the first period of play. CVCA extended their lead in to double digits in the 3rd quarter but Triway continued to battle and trimmed that deficit to just 2 points entering the 4th quarter. The Titans forced overtime with two late free throws. Despite being the on the road, CVCA never wavered and pulled away from Triway in overtime. They outscored the Titans 18-6 in overtime to secure a 71-59 win. The boys improved to 15-1 on the season and 11-0 in conference play. They are one conference win away from clinching at least a share of the PAC-7 championship.
