The CVCA boys basketball team faced off against Hoban on Saturday at Barberton High School as part of the 2024 Greynolds Classic. The Royals and Knights went toe to toe all night. CVCA took a 62-61 lead on 2 free throws by senior Niles Nuru with just seconds remaining. Hoban was able to find a buzzer beating layup to steal a 63-62 win. Despite the loss, the Royals continue to find their stride early in the season. They are set to host Louisville on Tuesday night.
