The CVCA swim teams traveled to Mount Union on Friday night for their first meet of the 2024-25 season. The Royals faced off against Alliance and Canton Central Catholic. The girls team earned two big wins over the Aviators and Crusaders. The boys team defeated Canton Central Catholic but fell to Alliance. Both teams will be back in action on Tuesday night at Independence.

Event wins: Our small but mighty girls team won 10 of 11 events! Eden White (200 IM and 100 free), Lucy Chaisson (50 free, 100 fly), and Hannah Shanor (200 free, 100 back) each won 2 events, and Grace King (500 free) and Julia Neumeyer (100 breast) each won one. The 200 free relay (Hannah Shanor, Eden White, Anya Bloom, Lucy Chaisson) and 400 free relay (Grace King, Eden White, Hannah Shanor, Lucy Chaisson) also won. The boys event win came in the 400 free relay (Nathan Mitchell, Lucas Florian, Noah Kolb, Andrew Sims).
