The CVCA hockey team traveled up to Canada for a tournament hosted by Smithville Christian. The Royals went 3-0 to earn a spot in the Championship Game. They fell to Smithville Christian by a score of 4-1 to finish as tournament runner-up. The following day, the team wrapped up their trip with a 6-4 win over Smithville Christian. They finished the season with a record of 26-8. They were the White North Division Champions and were 8-0 at home this season.
