The CVCA boys basketball team faced off against Villa Angela-St. Joseph on Saturday in the District Championship Game. The Royals and Vikings were locked in a battle for four quarters of play. The game remained tight until the end. CVCA trailed by five with under two minutes left, but never conceded. The Royals were able to tie the score with under 30 seconds to play. VASJ found the go ahead score with just 12 seconds left and CVCA's final two shots came up short. CVCA fell by a score of 60-58. They finish an outstanding season with a record of 22-3.
