The CVCA baseball traveled to Northwest on Saturday evening. The Royals and Indians were excited to sneak in a Saturday night game after two weeks of bad weather in Northeast Ohio. The teams went back and forth early and Northwest led 3-2 entering the 3rd inning. CVCA responded with 3 runs in the 3rd, 2 runs in the 4th, and 2 runs in the 5 to seize control of the game. Northwest added 2 runs in 6th inning, but CVCA closed the door in the 7th for a 9-5 win. The boys are now 3-3 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. The Royals will host Fairless on Monday night.
